NC Youth Soccer Levels of Play
NCYSA has three levels of play: Classic, Challenge, and Recreation. (NCYSA also offers the NCYSA Youth Academy and ODP as additional Programs.)

Classic
The NCYSA Classic Program is a state-wide competitive league administered by the NCYSA State Office, the VP of Classic and the Classic Council. It is the highest level of play offered within NCYSA.
Challenge
The NCYSA Challenge Program is a more regionalized competitive league that is administered by local Challenge Scheduling Leagues, NCYSA, the VP of Challenge and the Challenge Council.
Recreation
The NCYSA Recreation Program is administered by each of our local associations (that have recreation level of play), NCYSA, the VP of Recreation and the Recreation Council. There are no tryouts and there is a participation rule for players to play in each game.
