Age Group: 5 -7 years old (M/F):
Curriculum: This soccer camp is specially designed to stimulate cognitive learning while developing the necessary ball control. This soccer camp will lay the building blocks and early foundation for academics. The coach to child ratio is low tocreate an environment highly structured in order to maximize the concentration level inducive for learning soccer. This camp will be broken down as follows:
Monday: Spatial and directional awareness necessary to perform soccer exercises. (eg: up, down, backwards, forward, over, inside, outside etc.)
Tuesday: Body awareness and motor skill exercises. (eg: different parts of the foot and leg required to execute ball handling)
Wednesday: Numbers and counting exercises necessary to perform soccer exercises and games
Thursday: Color recognition exercises necessary to perform soccer exercises and games
Friday: The combination of the above skills required to execute soccer skills, exercises and game play.
Age Group: 8 -11 years old (M/F):
Curriculum: This soccer camp is designed for the beginner and less experienced recreational player. The emphasis will be on technique training in order to develop and improve ballc ontrol. Once ball control is mastered then the skills will be tested in small sided games. All exercises will be executed in small groups incorporating constant ball contact to insure the ball control improvement of every camper.
All Star Camp:
Age Group: U12and up (M/F):
Curriculum: This soccer camp is specially designed to accommodate the more experienced recreation player. This camp will focus on advanced technical training. The goal of this training is developing and improving advanced ball control in order to solely focus on individual tactical awareness during ball possession.Players are encouraged to play several positions during game like exercises to enhance their understanding of soccer tactics.
The "Little KickersCamp” will be one hour long.
For the "Junior” and "All Star Camp”, the first two hours of camp will consist of technical training and small sided games (every 30 minutes). During the last hour of each day, the camp offers the skill competition and small sided "Individual Winner Tournament”. The skill competition will cover a Dribbling contest, Penalty Kick contest and Juggling contest.
3 small sided games of 10 minutes long will be played as well during the last hour as part of the "Individual Winner Tournament” (each player individually accumulates points depending on the teams result of oneg ame. Players will be placed on random teams every game throughout the week).
